A Dream Come True
Fighter Pilot For A Day!
One of my Dreams was to be an Air Combat Fighter Pilot! It didn’t work out for me to enroll in the Air Force Academy or complete ROTC Training at UCLA as I had originally planned.
However, I was able to secure a spot in the Pilot seat of a SIAI Marchetti SF-260 Turbo Prop training jet thanks to the Alzheimer’s Foundation of the Ozarks.
With the assistance of my Top Gun Flight Instructor, James “Nails” Neubauer , Walt “Matador” (my pilot name) Cameron was able to be…..FIGHTER PILOT FOR A DAY…..on May 21, 2011 over the Pacific Ocean near Los Angeles.
I have condensed about 65 minutes of cockpit video down to a total of 3 minutes 34 seconds.
This was one of my life experiences that actually “exceeded” my expectations!
Everyone needs to do what they can to make their Dreams come true! You owe it to yourself!
